in those days there were two blocks the USSR [now russia and others] and USA. typically the erstwhile closer to USSR countries were in the non aligned movement. They were typically socialist countries and not free market economies. what you are suggesting is all the erstwhile or even present day socialist kind embrace free market propounded by the USA. nonaligned movement was never blessed by the USA. may be they can ask venezula to chair it. It will now be the ones that need to protect their masses from blantant capitlism that can be the true non-alligned [meaning non-aligned to capitalism in its true colours].
