Take her for a walk to a lake or in the park... talk to her... share a meal together... give her a hug... tell her you're always with her. Then tell her that you care and because you care, you see that she needs help. Try to get her into psychotherapy--from what you presented it seems like she would benefit.
Think: if you do nothing now, then 10 years from now, what will happen?

I undestand how you feel because i went through the same story myself.I would strongly recommend you to stand beside her and get her the best psycologist to help her sort out her problems. It can be really hard but still you have no chin up and keep going and moreover keep being positive!Hope your mom gets soon well.Goodluck.

I don't think taking her to the emergency room would help but she does need to see a doctor. Call and tell them that you need an emergency appointment but be sure to tell them why. The doctor will recommend the appropriate procedures but your mother does need some help.
Good luck.

maybe she needs sometime to stay home. and she should look for a new job. she has a sign that she is not comfortable at work and it would be ok miss one day from work home. observe are there any signs of substance abuse and consult a close family member or friend whom is close to both you and your mother and ask for help.

tell your mom to pull up her suspenders and get to the doctor. tell her you are stressing out about her health and that it is her job as a mother to address the issue, and that you will do anything you can to help her get well, AS LONG AS YOU CAN SEE A PLAN TO MOVE FORWARD. dont tiptoe around it. if it doesnt work, call you realtives and tell them that this is urgent.

Does she have any sisters you can call or your grandma, maybe they can come over and help her.
She may need more help then you can provide right now but someone she is close to maybe able to help better.
