To me the styles are very different musically not only in terms of speed, expression, but the way they are performed. Generally speaking they are each defined as follows:

R & B or RnB is Rhythm and blues and is a music genre developed by African Americans combining jazz, gospel, and blues influences. [ref 1] The term was coined in the late 1940s.

Reggae is a music genre developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s [ref 2]

Soul music is a music genre that combines rhythm and blues and gospel music, originating in the late 1950s in the United States. [ref 3]

So there are hsitorical as well as technical differences. The references will give more detail as well as some excellent samples.

Hope this helps!

R&B is a combination of rock and blues music....more on the blues end. The stuff they call R&B now is NOT R&B...more like C&V(computer and voice)

Reggae is a Jamaican form of rock. The tempo is slowed down giving it the mesmerising groove. Ska music uses the same rythms as reggae, just sped up

Soul is rock, blues and gospel based. Ray Charles is credited with starting this particular vein. It uses the high energy gospel traits in secular themes

R&B and soul stem from the same roots (blues), but reggae music is derived from a more Afro-Cuban/Caribbean style, known as "ska", with its definitive on-the-upbeat 4/4 rhythm, usually accentuated by a single guitar chord being played on each upbeat while the bass syncopates a rhythm around the pulse of drums and guitar.
I don't know what your previous answerers have been listening to, but there is an immense difference between reggae and R&B. Foremost being that one form originated in America and the other thousands of miles away in Jamaica.

Soul music is a music genre that combines rhythm and blues and gospel music, originating in the late 1950s in the United States.
According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, soul is "music that arose out of the black experience in America through the transmutation of gospel and rhythm & blues into a form of funky, secular testifying."

Stylistic origins: Gospel music, blues, Rhythm and blues

Reggae is a music genre developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s.The term is sometimes used in a broad sense to refer to most types of Jamaican music, including ska, rocksteady and dub. Reggae's origins are in traditional African and Caribbean music.
Reggae is always played in 4/4 or swing time as the symmetrical rhythm pattern does not lend itself to 3/4. Harmonically the music is often very simple.

Reggae is really meant to be more like a jam session and it always sounds better live.

R&B is more of a party music, sorta. It's something you can always dance to, hence "Rythem and Blues".

Soul is more of a studio sound and is really close to R&B, though I don't think anyone makes it with the intention of having people dance to it.

R&B is rhythm and blues, meaning slow sensual music. Reggae is more of an ethnic type of up-beat music. Soul is also up-beat and is created to raise your spirit.
