How about trying to persuade someone to quit smoking, persuading someone to vote for a candidate in the next presidential election, maybe even persuading someone to get a certain pet, like a dog. Hope these ideas help!

there is so much stuff on the internet about it ... like Iams (the pet food company) experiment on kittens
1) introduction
2) Cosmetic testing and medical testing (like cancer) - which one you dont like & why
3) facts eg. 50 000 animals die at the hands of proctar and gamble every year
4) alternative ways- buying products not tested on animals
5) conclusion

some fun ones are taking common fairy tales like cinderella and arguing that the intended villain (in this case, the stepmother) was actually the good one, or was provoked into being evil, or something like that...
kinda cheesy, i know, but it works.
