was playing- two guys from a group called Air Supply was hawking a CD collection called soft rock hits by TIME LIFE. I was horrified. Are these guys the Siegfried and Roy of soft rock? They were in a living room drinking a huge pitcher of lemonade laughing and oohing and aahing about the virtues of soft rock. It was bad. What is the story behind these people and who are their demos?

Actually I am in my late 40s. I have heard the word or term air supply but have never heard of these two characters.

Frenchy no hidden message or cuteness at all. I had just never seen anything like it in my life. If you saw the commercial you would not question my intent.

You must be joking. When were you born?

Air Supply was one of the best soft rock bands of the 80's...right up there with Chicago. They had several songs hit number one on the charts throughout a ten year time span. They were huge.

They are originally from Austrailia, and the two lead singers are Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock. Graham Russell is one of the best ballad songwriters of our time.

They still tour to this day, with constant sellout concerts. I know this because I tried to get tickets and they were already sold out.

They are appearently not in your genre of interest, but they are a great band.

You can actually understand the words that they sing!! Much better than some of the racket you hear nowadays!!

You want some bad infomercials? Watch some of the American infomercials (like for the Magic Bullet) on the Spanish channels; they're dubbed!!

they are trying to show what the music was like when they were making music. I remeber this group and they were really good.
