Whoa there. Why the hell has he been eating that since 14 weeks??? A baby's digestive system isn't ready for solid food until at least 4 months, but it's best to wait until 6! Have you talked to your pediatrician about this? Did he/she okay it??? That's the only time you should start solids early!

if he has been eating more solid foods since he was 14 weeks, he should be fine with some home-made mashed potatoes. mash them up in a blender, do not put any seasonings like salt and pepper into it ... just a little milk ..
he will LOVE it

Yes home-made food is the best thing you can give your baby. I processed all my children food when they were babies and i still breast fed. some babies like to eat and doctors think you should wait at least four months. don't starve the baby let the baby eat. just don't over due the solid food because they can become obese. make a schedule when you want to give him solid food but it's okay. Good luck and your are the mother you know what's best for your son.

Mashed potatoes can get very sticky, I wouldn't try it, unless you make them very soft. In the other hand there is no much nutrition in mashed potatoes, I would try a combination of mash potatoes and carrots.

certain, the in trouble-free terms way for them to come across approaches to apply a spoon is to do it themselves and that continually makes a mess. I almost had a anxious breakdown too-i'm a sparkling freak! You son is sufficiently previous to be feeding himself and must be so he can learn. My son is 20 months and is behind because I continually fed him because i did not prefer to debris, he's catching up rapidly besides the undeniable fact that and so will your son. i imagine the reason he's not ingesting is because he needs to do it himself. from time to time if i attempt to feed my son a chew he will turn his head and then do it himself. attempt to sit down with him and use a spoon your self, exhibiting and telling him to do like mommy. At your sons age it gained't take lengthy. basically enable bypass and enable the mess take position, it may continually be wiped clean up. solid success.
