particular, I made this comparable element to my 24 year previous son. I flat ask him why he wasn't down on Clemens the way he became Bonds. He hates Bonds, has for alongside time, even in the previous Balco. He enjoyed The Rocket in spite of the reality that, so mutually as the Mitchell checklist have been given right here out I ask him approximately his thoughts on Clemens...his reaction "they have not have been given any information on Clemens". I argued they have not have been given any further information on Bonds the two. If Peteit became using with the same coach that Roger became using then what makes each guy or woman think of of he did no longer use additionally. so a ideas as i'm apprehensive all the shoppers would prefer to be banned from baseball, the HOF and thier documents/stats would prefer to get a great fat *** may be SKEWED via PEDs ***.

In a conversation with his son, he says it is a 20% chance of him playing. I agree wih his desicion, he is getting old, he hasn't been playing well the past few years. I think he should retire, he will be in the Hall of Fame anyway. So, I agree that I do not think he will play in 2007.
If he happens to feel good enough to play this year, he will only play in May through October. If he plays, it will be with the Astros, I mean, this has come up the past 2 years, and he always ended up in Houston. He will also be in Houston because that is where his family is.
A lot of people think he will go with the Yankees, just because Andy Pettit went there. That is a load of bull, why would he go for one player? There will be as little chance of him winding up in New York, as, him retireing, 20%.
As many people (including me) hope, he will return to Boston for a storybook ending, not likely. He turned down one of their offers this seson, and probably many more. Also, the Red Sox cannot afford him, they already spent a ton of money on players such as Matsuzaka, and Drew. They will not have enough payroll left to purcase another year from Clemens. He will also have trouble fitting in, with other aces, such as Schilling and Beckett.
So it is unlikely (not impossible) for Roger Clemens to return to the Major Leagues this year. If he returns these are the odds of which team.: Astros 75%, Yankees 15%, Red Sox10%. Despite of his not returning, Clemens will be elected into the HAll of Fame in his first available chance.

He is probably going for a big contract. Clemens will either end up with the Yankees since he want to win a World Series and the Yankees are his best shot at winning the World Series. Or, he will retire. He may also end up with the Yankees because Andy Pettitte is back with the Yankees this year.

Actually, where Roger wants to go depends mostly on where those teams are in the standings. He has been quoted as saying he wants to be in the post-season. If the Yanks jump out to a 9 or 10 lead in the division then chances are he goes there and vice-versa with the Red Sox and if the Astros are looking good then he would wind up there. If they are all doing around the same, then I say Astros, Yankees and Red Sox are his picks in order.

i think he got pressured into playing last year iam sure he really is just burnt out even last year he was amazing .
i live in KC and obviously the royals arent very good he tore us up (he is the only reason i went to the game) but honestly he looked bored after he struck guys out it was like it wasnt fun for him at all i think it is better for him to walk away maybe he could come back again in a couple years if hes still in great shape maybe then he will want to have 1 last season and have fun again
whatever he does it was an honor to see him play and he is truly a champion

Everyone has a price. If the bucks are there he will play. I just wish he would stop this BS and either commit or walk. His side show is beginning to wear thin with the fans.

Who cares? I have along memory and will never forgive him for throwing a broken bat at a runner - an act that in my opinion should have brought a charge of felonious assault.
