Happens to me too. i tried cutting my hair and people said i looked even younger. best to just try to ignore what people think and do what is best for you.
i hate it when people say its a good thing. No 25 year old wants to be talked down to or treated like a teen any more than the want to be treated like a senior citizen

I'd say from that picture you look about 18. I also been told and mistaken by many who think i'm 16-17 years old, but really am 20. Its sometimes a good thing to look young, at least when your 40 you'll still look about 25 or so. To still look young but more mature change the style of your hair cut, maybe straighten it and get it cut to a short length, get side bangs or even layers would be nice. NO need for make up or glasses to appear older.

I got carded on my 34th birthday. The man selling me alcohol was unsure enough about me to think I may be under 21 and trying to get away with something. I just laughed it off. That doesn't happen very often, but it did make me think that people probably mistake me for younger without me knowing it. I think once you're in your 30's you definitely won't mind, so don't be in a hurry to change.

Don't cut your hair short until you are older. From what I have seen, a lot of younger girls tend to have long hair. I 've also noticed that Women in their 40's-60's tend to cut their hair short. So, if you want to look young and vibrant, keep it long. However, if you want to look older and mature, cut it short.

Hey its good to look young.. look at it this way.. while all other 40 year old women are going to look like hell you are going to still be a hot younger looking girl :D

Dont be old lady and do a bob. Keep a fresh look that will make your entire face shine. And its not all about the hair either, how do you dress?
