Example, once a week...once a month and what are they doing such as, a girls night out, or visiting family and friends. My husband gets off on Friday drinks at work then leaves with his friend to party some more, then he sleeps all day and does this again Friday and Saturday! I think he is being very selfish as he spends no time with me and the kids. kids are 9 and 6.

Wow... I guess since my husband doesn't drink I can't complain anymore that he loafs too much around the house now.
I think you just need to change gears on him and tell him (not ask) that you are going somewhere on a Saturday then just go. If he's been 'warned' then anything that happens is his fault and he'll know it.
You sound like you need some time away from everybody, and soon.

Say that the next Friday is yours and go out, while he tends kids. Then sleep all the day long, and do this again the next Friday and Saturday.

We're together always Unless she goes to the salon or shopping .
We work from home so you could see we just love it.
