He deserves the nomination more than Hillary. His plan makes sense because if the Iraqi government is not ready by March 2008, they will never be ready. It's already been far too long!

Poor Mr. Obama stands no chance of defeating Hillary Clinton. If he poses any serious threat, the Clinton machine will attack and destroy him personally as they will anyone who offers any kind of threat. I am sure they have many private investigators going over every inch of his life.
For those of you who are impressed with his get out of Iraq plan, it amounts to the same thing every democrat candidate wants. They want the war over before they take office. Even if it means that America must surrender to get it done.
The democrats are not about defending America they are about using the military for social experimentation and cutting the funding the military needs. Hillary did not even want military personnel assigned to the White house to wear their uniforms for crying out loud.
Democrats like Mr. Obama want to approach terrorism as a police matter. Not a military matter. That is the basic flaw. Prosecutors work after the damage has been done.

No. If he is the man on the Democratic ticket and the Republicans run a conserv-moderate with experience, Mr. O will lose. He needs to run for Governor of Illinois first. Do that for a 4 year term, then he will be electable. Not now it is to soon for him.

We have lot of good people in America with brilliant ideas but politics is very dirty game and those good people do not play politics. And in my opinion we are not ready for non white president yet.We talk about woman's and minorities rights only to get their votes, not to make them president. We Americans are very smart.

No.
You can't win a presidcential election without getting some republican votes, and republicans simply will not vote for a black person.
Of the 40+ black members of congress, not a single one is republican. 100% of them are Democrats.
Republicans will not vote for a black person in national office.
