An interesting question. I think, though, that the Dems *will* be more likely to offer criticism of a Dem president, when and where it is warranted. Let's face it, Dems and liberals, by nature, are more likely to ask questions, to demand accountability, to rebel against expectations and to distrust authority figures. Republicans and Conservatives, by there very nature, are more... well... obedient and sheep-like.
When Clinton was president, he received *plenty* of criticism from his left flank. Only when the Rethuglicans went waaaay over the edge (with impeachment, etc.), did liberals, like me, come back "home" to rally around Bill. Of course, here in the midst of the evil and ridiculously incompetent Bush regime, we libs all ADORE Bill and miss him desperately (in comparison to Bush, Clinton was a truly great president) -- but, back in the day, there was definitely some healthy dissent from the left.

Just look at past history and you will get your answer. If you are looking for integrity look at this most recent crop of Democrats. The power grab began the second the vote was passed to approve military action in Iraq. As soon as the president said we were going to war top Democrats stepped up and claimed they didn't think the president would go to war without coming back to congress and asking for permission. Were these people stupid and not understand what they voted on? I don't think so. As soon as hostilities started the chants of I support the troops, but not the President began(keep in mind that even though there were several Dems who voted against the war it was passed by Dems as well as Republicans). Then came the awesome John Kerry, Democratic candidate in '04. "I voted for the war before I voted against it." This was the Dems top pick top lead the country guys. The noise against the war has gotten louder recently, but it is nothing new. It has always been a strategy of voting to support the war all while publically bashing the war(except by the Dems who didn't have re-election problekms). It began the day after the vote was passed to authorize military action. If you want integrity how about supporting some representatives who support the country instead of undermining the president on the national stage while trying to do a job that the Democrats voted to do?
I personally hope all politicians would show some integrity. As a Republican I would like ot have seen members of my party stand up and say stop these insane spending increases or we need to do something about illegal immigration now before the problem gets worse. I don't expect it to happen in my lifetime.

I'm assuming you mean the "poor quality" of work... and not the actual policies... because it would be hard to get elected by dems running on his policies... but, I think there is a core that will always support their party no matter what... and then a good number that will be very upset at the situation... I see many Republicans upset with Bush right now... but there is a good number that would almost support him no matter what...

Boy, that's a good one! The liberals(democrats) only believe in freedom of speech when criticizing others. They'll definately just blindly support a democratic administration. No politicians have integrity.

I dont know, i think we need to drop this whole two party system in the first place. Neither is ever perfect. Sure, liberals might be nicer, but their arent exactly economy friendly. And a republican will save you money, but beat you to death with their bibles.
We need someone more objective. Someone partyless if you ask me.

I think there is a chance that we may not question a democrat-run government.
but there is a group of americans who are sick of the governments abuse of power and distrust the gov in general now.

You're hoping in vain, as Clinton was knee deep in his multiple scandals Democrats were still trying to make him out to be a hero. Democrats will be too busy pilfering the treasury to notice any Democrat misdoing, besides, when they ARE made public they'll claim what the Democrats always claim " but this was different.."

Of course! If we have a democratic administration similar to this current administration, i will be ashamed to be a democrat. I don't look at the party, i look at the policies.
