Mahal, look at the way you contradicted yourself. "Since when does a monster have more credibility than the president of the United States"-you also said some eye-witnesses in Saddam's govt said there are WMD's in Syria. So who do you believe? The president who says there are no WMD's there or the monsters in Saddam's govt?

Scarlett and all you others like her, stop believing a few people who say crazy things just because you want to justify reasons for invading Iraq.

I believe all of Saddam's pre-1991 industrial capabilities and WMD's are currently in Syria, not because of "some rumor" but because eye-witnesses in Saddam's government said so. It's not a rumour when the people who handle the stuff tell us where it's at.
Bush has to keep this to himself if he doesn't want to risk invading another country. Personally, I wish he would have some confidence in his own people and begin trying to expose the threat.
Some of those munitions were fit for wing-mount weapons on a MiG-21, and Syria uses MiGs. That means that some of Saddam's weapons are usable right now, others require a level of technical expertise to process further (which Syria probably doesn't have).
The CIA published a report (authorized by Bush) describing Saddam's ongoing efforts to reconstitute and develop CW, Sarin, mustard gas, VX nerve gas, phosphorus for explosives, anthrax, and rocket propellant in the last half of the 90s funded by the Oil for Food Program. It's no secret that this was going on.
The question you have to ask yourself is not what Bush believes but something a lot closer to common sense:
"Do WMD's vanish into thin air just because an evil dictator says they don't exist?"
Since when does a monster have more credibility than the president of the United States? Any American who believes this, regardless of your personal political views, has gone off the deep end of hatred and can never be taken seriously in any discussion.
You actually have to use your brain sometime. You can't just let it lie limp at your side.

Here are a few artcles that deal with the issue.
"I am absolutely sure that Russian Spetsnatz units moved WMD out of Iraq before the war," stated John Shaw, the former deputy undersecretary for international technology security.

Well, they're not NOT proven to be there. So that's cause enough, eh?
Lets invade just to be sure.
Oh, also, Jordan has it coming and their people are the same color as the people of Syria so that means there's some sort of connection.
