One of the worst things that could happen is WWIII.
They found mamouth remains in Fla?! Ooo, ahh! (and there's no way that they could have been planted -or see below, just like the Loch Ness hoax, UFO hoaxes, Sasquatch...)
Just like on the Inconvenient Truth, global warming may be one of the biggest hoaxes put on some. The Great Flood happened, not an Ice Age. Things are flooded, things float or get pushed with currents & the force of water. Look what happened with the great sunami Dec. 26 of '05 ? Things were swept clear across an ocean by now. Also, if lakes dry up, you can see the same formations by moving water -not moving ice. :) Nor do I believe in the Dinosaur Age or that they existed the way they say.

Well, we could fry the atmosphere, or freeze, or we might get hit by a comet or asteroid, or maybe the sun will flare up and burn the whole planet, oh my the sky is falling....
They found mammoth and saber tooth tiger remains here in St. Petersburg FL. Which means that in order for those animals to have been here it would have had to have been frozen in Florida, giving some hold to the theory that the pole was once located over bermuda.
Anyway, I was thinking about global warming and I wonder just how hot we can get before things break down. I am wondering if there were periods of years in the earths history where it was so warm that there was no snow at all. The reason I say this is becuase the graphs that show warming and cooling are based off of the analysis of air bubbles trapped in ice cores drilled from the poles. I think that if it could have gotten so hot at times that there was no snow pack or ice formation at all, there for there would be no bubbles for these time frames. What they should start to look for are gaps in time where they can find no samples then try to match thge geological records for the time periods absent to get an idea of just how hot it can get. I mean could we actually get hot enough where the crust would loose its ability to keep magma at bay? Could the thinning of the crust due to warming and the removal of oil to the tune of 20,000 square miles a year, be caiusign the magma to move closer and there fore release more GHG's? 90% of GHG's come from natural volcanic activities. Have you seen a thermographic picture of the indian ocean where all these nasty earth quakes are causing tidal waves? It looks like a red hot piimple waiting to burst....
Anyway as long as the sun comes up tomorrow everything is fine. There is not a saber tooth tiger waiting to get you outside.

Nothing. Anything can be as bad as each other. The spilling of my chocolate milk on a powerplant nearby your house can be the worst thing that happened especially when you were having a fight with someone on Yahoo! Answers.. OH NO THE POWER IS OFF! Wahaha.. Sorry about that, but that is bad, right?

A micro-black hole rips through Earth destroying everything.
Or a nearby star goes supernova and the gamma rays bakes Earth.
A gigantic comet slams into the ocean destroying all life.
Are those bad enough scenarios?

Death is certainly not the worst. mmm let me think. Standing in a grocery line (cart to cart) and letting out a soft to louder to louder long big smelly FART....that would just about end it for me.

The worst thing for today would be that my car won't start. I'm gonna try to start it later. It's 20F and hasn't been started since last Sunday. :-(

i could fail my finals, be kicked out of home, be forced to join the staff at tescos, and end up marrying a pervert from turkey that likes speedos and drinking spiked milk, most probably together
