I have a tv show(aprx 45 mins long) and i want to put it on my computer, avi formatted. How can i do this and how long will it take?

sorry im not clear off, i meant a tv show on dvd and i want to convert it to avi on my computer.

you have to use a dvd ripper program
here's a link to the one's I use.
for a 45 min. show, it'll probably be 15-30 mins

Confused alittle at the question.. Is it in an AVI format now or you want to make it into avi format ?? if it is the latter try SuperDvDripper or ImTOO DVD Ripper
edit.. Use DvD decypter to put onto your computer then either of the programs i mentioned to encode to AVI ( is what i thought you meant in the first place but wasn't sure).. On the decrypter site there is also help for ripping dvds !

u need the following dvd fab decypter dvd shrink and nero all can be got for free of torrentspy between these you can rip any movie and even edit downloaded movies

lmoa just pop it in ur pc right click.copy n paste it into my documentes. u might need to download DivX player from the interent cuz the file is prob compressed Have Fun n00b XD
