Presently, the real estate business is the best industry. We are looking so many state govt's of india, are looking this monopoly profitable business. They are built greater housing projects, and it has been demonestrated to the NRI parties, the prise is sky high, which is not matching for our middle class people to entry the housing projects. Some other peoples are benefited. This questionis totally wrong. The govts build up the housing complex, with the tie up with the industrilists.

Because unions get those Government bids and they tend to cost the TAX PAYER more money. For healthy competition the gov. needs to STOP spending our money and let the people do the building on a private level. No government red tape. No pork barrel give aways.

This would be just another form of welfare. Individual prosperity is better left to the markets, not to governments.

The problem is when the government steps in and provides housing, it has no right to discriminate and people begin clamouring for the free stuff instead of working to pay for their own. As a result, the government, in its efforts, is undermining the productivity of its own people and the entire national economy suffers as a result.

There should be an round development of the people. If all the poor are given good shelters, and yet they remain poor, the houses will be sold away by them to other moneyed people. That is what has happened to many of the houses built and given to the slum dwellers.
