Hi there, yes it can make it harder to fall preg. I currently found out I have PCOS after trying to get preg for 2 years now. Due to not ovulating, I gained weight over the years. Weight also contributes to PCOS and makes it harder. Due to PCOS I am a fuller figure lady. Although I go to a dietican and she put me on a low G.I diet which helps me have my periods and ovulate. Good luck with it all. Try diet ands see what happens

Will PCOS affect my ability to have children some day?

Women with PCOS have a normal uterus and healthy eggs. Many women with PCOS have trouble getting pregnant, but some women have no trouble at all. If you are concerned about your fertility (ability to get pregnant) in the future, talk to your doctor about all the new options available including medications to lower your insulin levels and help you ovulate each month.

Hi, I also have PCOS. I had no problems with getting pregnant with my daughter who is now 4 years. However, I was diagnosed after I gave birth to her. I just wanted to let you know that it is possible, it may be a little more difficult though. After 3 years of trying, I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck!

Yes, it can. You will probably have to take something like clomid to make you ovulate. There's also a higher risk of early miscarriage for women with PCOS. So you will probably be able to have kids, it will just be more difficult.

It really depends on your body everybody is different I have one friend who has this same problem and had children with no problem. Then I hear about other women who have problems. So don't worry about it until you seek medical help by two doctor. Please you need to see two doctors then the third will make the final decision. Good-luck and I wish you a divine day.
