Dog did the right thing to go that rapist hiding like a guilty coward. He should be rewarded-not jailed. Luster ran because he's got money and he should spend the rest of his life being raped in jail.
I send my best wishes and prayers to the Dog and his family. It will all work out. I wish him and his partners to keep on doing what they are doing. They treat criminals as humans and steer them in the right path. peace and love to the chapmen family.

Probably best answer at this point in history is for the US to refuse to extradite him.
The best chance of doing this would be to write our government officials, especially Pres. George Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
It would be unjust to send him to prison.
I am not totally certain of the Mexican government's motives for insisting on this prosecution. Perhaps corruption and/or retaliation for US actions are part of it. On the other hand, in Mexico, kidnapping for ransom or for political purposes or in support of organized crime is a real problem. This may affect their attitude. If the Mexican court can make the distinction between kidnapping for criminal purposes and "kidnapping" a convicted felon fugitive from justice, this would be best of all. But I doubt that the Mexican government is ready for this.
The Mexican people do recognize that Chapman took a serial rapist off the streets of Mexico, and they appreciate that. But they feel uneasy about his methods. To them it seems too much like vigilantism which remains a greater problem there than in the US.
This is why I think the best answer is to block extradition. This way, the Mexican courts avoid the dilemma of punishing a good guy, and Chapman remains at liberty.

No offense to you all for i am sure your hearts are in the right place but Mexico and the U.S. have had extradition treaties in place for years now. All Dog had to do was let the Mexican authorities know where Luster was and he would have been arrested and deported. Dog knew this and instead thought he was above a Nations laws and did what he did. For him to whine now makes a mockery of ANY Nation's laws, including the U.S. It is a joke that so many of you look at this as a Mexico/U.S. thing. It is not. This is about respecting another nations laws, and money. Before the TV show, Dog was a nobody doing a job, somehow , due to the show, he became a "christian" crusading against evil doers. What a crock. Bounty hunters are all about the money. I, for one, respect laws and I hope Dog gets the book thrown at him. Take a good look at yourselves and tell me that if Dog was a Mexican bounty hunter that flaunted U.S. laws, would you all feel the same. Not likely. And please, like big bad 'Dog", stop your whining, and start respecting another Nation's laws.

There is no question Dog, Tim and Leland did the right thing when they captured that monster in mexico. I have written my congressmen asking them to speak up on the behalf of the Chapman's to stop extradition to that corrupt hellhole of a country.

Dog, Leland and Tim are heroes and should be celebrated. The world would be a better place if there were more people like them in it.

They are in my prayers.

I'm a Canadian so my influence is limited with respect to U.S. gov. reps. I suggest everyone however bombard government officials with your concerns. Only a massive out pouring of public support will make elected officials step up to the plate. My prayers are with the Dog and his family and friends at this time.

I think the Mexicans are just playing games because we arrest the illegals and send them back.
I think we should adopt their policy for illegals.
They are sent back no questions ask no rights, no benifits, no credit cards, no schools, just send them back.

God what a bunch of slimeballs. I love it when dog and his bunch say they want to blend in with the crowd before apprehending them. As if they could! Dog and company looks like the Jerry Springer Show Takes to the Streets of Hawaii!

my heart goes out to the whole family and they will be in my prayers. it would be heartbreaking and traumatizing to take those men away from their families. there is an online petition that those who would like to do something could.
