ok so i was soo caught up for years with my ex i thought i will never love anyone again and everything i did i always thought about him and i fealt i couldnt move on...so yesterday my friend told me to pray and ask god to show me a sign how to move on , so i prayed and i begged god to please show me a sign...so yesterday i went to the movies and the actor in the movie was everything im looking for in a man in real life ,i fell soooo in love with the actor,even when i was in the movies i pictured my ex sitting besides me and the actor on the other side and i didnt want anything to do with the ex anymore i wanted the actor...now this is my question ,do you thing god showed me a sign that im capitable of falling inlove again??? i know i cant be with the actor but do u think that was my sing that i will feel for someone stronger again??? please no rude answer s if you dont understand my question ...thank you..

I am not a religous person, but since your belife in God is so strong, then it could very well be a sign, or than you think an actor is really hot!! (waht movie did you see btw?? LOL)
Everyone is capable in loving again, religous or not. You jsut have to learn how to let go of things. You have trouble doing so. It's alright, but your obbsestion with your ex for YEARS ( i assume more than 2) has almost ruined your life, and any chance to love again. No man (or woman) should have that great of an impact on your life that you fantasize about them 24/7. Even a beloved wife or husband.
So, if you feel weak, just watch that movie, and then start to date again. And when you do, do NOT think of your ex. even once..you'll fall right back into your obbsesive behavor and make your current man feel like crap.

I do believe it could have been a sign from god showing you that you are no longer interested in your ex and you know what kind of a man you are looking for. You need to set your sights on a man you would like to be with but then again you know that there are trade offs. You will never find a perfect match to your expectations but you can get real close on good judgment and review. There's is nothing wrong with fantasizing (just like the movie) either because it will help you to separate the bad from the good. You know what you want now get out ther and mingle. That could be a sign. I think that either god can send us signs or we can just want a sign so bad that we manifest one ourselves. Which ever the case I think that if you feel that you are ready to move on then you should. If the feelings are there, I think you should go for it but make sure that they are true feelings and not just desperate feelings. It's never great being alone especially when you're caught up about someone that doesn't love you. I think it's great that you feel you can move on. Go for it. You will definitly find love again. I think it was a sign that you can move on in your life. I'm glad you made a point of saying you know you can't be with that actor. That would have been a sign that you're nuts lol. I know it's hard getting over someone you loved dearly, but life does go on. When a door closes, another one opens... you just have to find it! You can fall in love again, trust me.

Let's put it this way. You are ready to move on now, probably because you made the effort in praying to God to move on and because you finally discovered that you CAN have feelings for someone else. And maybe God did give you a sign. He doesn't always do things the way we expect.

i am a roman catholic...so pls don't get me wrong here. we do not have to pray to God to give us a sign if we are capable of falling in love again because falling in love over and over again is a fact of life.
instead, pray to God to send you a man who would be a good husband & a good father to your kids someday. and pray for discernment so you would also know if he is God sent.

You know that you can be attracted to other people, so that's a good start. Next time around don't base relationship 100% on attraction...you can find that anywhere...even on a movie screen. Find something worth your heart, someone who does more than be funny or look pretty.
