The man is going to do as he wants until the end of his term. And right now, he could care less what the people of this nation think. He is concerned about his legacy. There is no way that Pres. Bush is going to let go of his 'dream of a democratic' Middle East even as all signs point in other directions. These people, these Middle Easterners, want their freedom, yes, but not a westernized form of freedom. They want freedom FROM the United States, from George Bush, from death and destruction.
One of Bush's biggest mistakes was early on in his presidency, when he readiiy admitted that he would surround himself with people who knew more than he did. Which he did. And in so doing he forgot who he was, forgot to use his OWN brain. Now with nearly the entire Middle East in turmoil, he realizes his mistakes. The result. He is intent on winning at least ONE war before he leaves office. Instead, he has only created more....

How can it happen since president Bush will leave office on next year and after that democrats may control White House to pull our troops out! What I can see now is that in the next 2 years, thousands people will die all over Iraq (not just Baghdad like these days) and Terrorists or Iran will take over that poor country.

Yes we do already have a democracy in Iraq, and you do ramble. We are fighting with Iraq now not against them, get up to speed. The USA and Iraq are on the same side fighting against Iran, Syria and all the other terrorists in the Middle East.It is better to fight the terrorists in the Middle East than in America.

In all your ramble you forget to mention that there is already a working democracy in Iraq.
It is simply, like many other states, being attacked by enemies, both internal and external.
And some of these external enemies are willing to sacrifice 25 milion Iraquis just to spite Bush.

Not any more democratic than it is today. Yet, our administration still stupidly believes in the Maliki government, which is why they want to send in more troops.
