Mine usually last an average of 5 days. That doesn't mean I will be bleeding heavy that whole time. Usually the first and last days I'm just spotting. It will take a while for you to find a "normal" Some pads are worse than others. Try different brands. I hate the bulky ones too.

It sounds like breakthrough bleeding--how long have you been on the Yaz pill? If less than 3 months it is nothing to worry about, it will straighten out. If you've been on it longer than 3 months you may need a stronger pill.

you may want to call your doctor just to talk to them because they may tell you that it's fine because you're on the birth control or they may want you to come in so they can check it out. i say call them instead of just going to see your doctor because it may be a useless trip and everyone's all about saving time, right? :)

Anytime something is not normal you need to see your doctor. There could be to many things it could be so i will not worry you. it could be something very small.

Good luck
