The longest creature in length is a tapeworm/ribbonworm.
The oldest creature in age (if you include all living things) is a bush in Tasmania which is estimated to be over 45,000 years old. Other bushes in the Mojave desert in America are more than 20,000 years old.
The oldest animal is a Galapagos Giant Tortoise, which lives to about 150 - 200 years.

Longest living creature in length is, I believe, the blue whale. The land tortoise is the longest living in years.

The longest living creature is called the water bear, which isn't a bear at all. It can actually survive the vacuum of space and be completely frozen and still live. It can survive this way for thousands of years. Corral formations are living systems that can live for thousands of years, but they can't compare to the water bear for longevity. Do a search on the Web to see for yourself.

If by creature you mean "organism" then the answer is definitely the Bristle-Cone Pine (Methuselah) in the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. (3000+ years) If "creature" means animal then the answer is the Galapagos Tortoise. (about 175 years) Search the net (Wikipedia?) for details.

The giant tortoise lives the longest, about 177 years in captivity. And just in case you were wondering -the gastrotrich (a minute aquatic animal) lives the shortest: three days.

Yep, Harriet the Galapagos land tortoise just turned 175 in February. She is the oldest animal alive today. Trees are another story.
