*In the playoffs, the hero is never who you expect it to be. I think that Jordan Staal has great potential, and I almost know that he will be a great playoff player.

Alright, this is how I see the awards race this year...
Hart: Sidney Crosby. No player this year has been as affective as Sid the Kid both by points, by charisma and by overall love of the game. He defines most valuable player.
Lady Bing: Paul Kariya. It'll be his third, but the man always plays the game of hockey with respect and skill.
Vezina: Roberto Luongo. Where would the Vancouver Canucks be without this guy? This guy can make one breath-taking save after another and not even break a sweat. Brodeur's a good pick as well, but I think Luongo has outplayed him this time.
Calder: Jordan Staal. Do I really need to explain this one? The kid's phenominal, end of story.
Art Ross: Sidney Crosby.
James Norris: Nicklas Lindstrom. The guy is phenominal. He defines defenceman. (Actually, had he played more games, I would have given this one to Scott Niedermayer.)
Conn Smythe: I can't see a standout in this category, as the playoffs are a ways away. If anyone, I'd pick Sid the Kid, but as I said, I'm not sure.
Lester B. Pearson: Paul Kariya. Even though it's not up to me, I think it'll happen.
Jack Adams: Either Barry Trotz or Ken Hitchcock, I've yet to decide.
Rocket Richard: Vincent Lecavalier. Need I say more?

That sounds good Although Hart is the MVP award. Unless you mean the Player voted MVP as well as League MVP.
