yeah 2 number 1's under her belt now, and she was popular with her first album there, the 2nd one wasn't promoted well enough, so couldn't do aswell as her previous one, but Loose hit number one and is still pretty hight on the chart, and I heard it was Canada's top selling album last year! I love Nelly good singer!

chameleon. i imagine that is incorrect to imagine that basically because a particular type of music appeals to a huge spectrum of persons, it immediately will grow to be substandard or that its essence is carefully lost in capitalistic objectives. commercial music doesnt continually equate to undesirable music. nelly furtado is an excellent artist. i imagine she's smart and courageous sufficient to come across the sorts of music that we've in the present day. there's a lot kinds (of music) to make certain on from and that is unhappy if artists does no longer care to discover and use them basically to look "cool". i imagine this may help her advance her skills as an artist and attain out to larger people. her free album seems very interesting as she is going again to her hip-hop roots. i'm hoping she'll have more beneficial in the destiny, perhaps a dance record or an option album? i can not wait.

Yes she was popular when she first came out. And disappeared for a little while. Now she is back and bigger than she was before.
I love her music!

It depends who you ask. Go talk to that emo that sits alone at lunch and he'll tell you differently than anyone else.
