How can you paint softball bats?

You can order them painted and if you are playing in a league that might be your only option. ASA rules are pretty strick about altering a bat and anything not done besides taping (and there are rules about taping as well) by the manufacter very likely will deem the bat illegal. Check to make sure what you want to do is legal before you shell out good money for a bat and then spend even more to paint it and then find you cant use it in league play. If you play on a good team and you hit well i gaurantee someone will complain and if you used it in the game before they file a protest your team will end up forfeiting. I used to be a certified umpire and it always amazed me at what people would complain about if they lost especially in tournaments....it could never be that the other team was better.
