It may not necessarily be, I had this about 6 weeks before my periods started properly. The best thing to do is to wear a sanitary towel, and if it is your period then you won't be caught off guard. If it stops it may just be your body's way of tellling you you're going to start soon. Sometimes your first period can be very light and may only be like a brown discharge, so mark down on a calendar or in a notebook the dates its starts and finishes and it'll help you to figure out whether it is your period or not

Yes, you probably are starting. Especially if your stomach is starting too hurt, or cramp. Also look for personality and emotional changes. If your acting mood, craving food, sad, depressed, crying alot, abnormally sensitive, or any other emotional changes your probably going through pre-menstruel symptoms. Ask your mom to help you out. Go to the store and purchase some pads just in case. Talk to an older female that you know really well and discuss your deal...

No, worries, girl, WELCOME INTO THE WOMANHOOD! :)
Congrats on your new beginning! Don't be shy, don't be scared, get an Always or whatever is available at your pharmacy. Take it easy with your tummy, it will probably have this pulling senstaion for some time, not more than one day though.
You will perhaps feel the need to pee more often, and a crave for sweets with time, so be ready, pamper yourself, don't do any extremes, lie down for an hour if you want, drink some relaxing tea. Wash regularly with warm water. Whatever you have described is normal and OK.
Talk to your mommy, and do write down the date of every new period beginning.
Good luck!

That is your period. Talk to your mother or a woman that you trust like the nurse or a friend mother and go to the store to get pads. Your period will be irregular for the first 2 years so don't worry about that. Good luck. You will get used to it and be in control of your period before you know it.

Yep... that's exactly what happened to me, except I noticed the brown stuff when I came inside from being on the swingset.
Some was even dried-like and now I know that it was sort of dried blood... but that was how it started.
Get a pad from your mom's stuff and tell her you've started. If you don't know how to place the pad properly in your panties, ask and she'll show you... but basically it should cover that "crotch" area that's usually cotton on the inside of your underwear.
Congratulations... you're a club member now :)

Yep sounds like you've started. You're lower tummy will start to have an intense achey feeling. After you've had your first period don't worry if you don't one for another couple of months - totally normal. Your periods will not become regular for about a year, possibly more. Ask your friends or an adult to give you more advise.

Could very well be your period. Put some protection on and see what other symptoms you get. I think that the pain in your tummy is normal. I am concerned about the burning in your vagina. If this continues, let your parent know just in case it is an infection in your urinary tract. Good health

Did someone break your virginity?
If not, then yes, you are experiencing menstruation period.
Ask your mum or girlfriend to help you with some sanitary towels if you dont have any.
Find a pain killer as the tummy ache can be annoying.
Good luck
