think record had a nonsensical title, something like 'Da deeka da da da dee da' girl group possibly mid 60's.

The song was 'dum didi da da da', but I don't remember the name of the group, sorry.

got any more clues and are you sure its a girl group as you have>>Da do ron ron by the Crystals,sounds about right unless you take the manfreds with>> do wa diddy diddy dum diddy dee,,I believe this was covered by a girl group the lines go>>there he/she goes juast a walkin down the street singin do wah diddy diddy dum diddy dee,depends if sung by girls or boys and for the life of me I can`t remember the girl band that covered it it may have been the Ronnettes ``````I`ll rack my brains for ya

There was a song wots main line was da do ron ron(met him on a monday & my heart stood still ,da do ron ron ron,da do ron ron)is that the song ur on about?cant remember who sang it but thats how it went. My mam would know.
