If your hair is brown then probably 30 minutes. If it's in the blondes I would try 15-20. Go to their brand website. I just dyed my hair today!

it should say in the instructions. just remember that any black dye has blue in it to make it that dark and will fade somewhat quickly. rinse yoiur hair after dyeing and washing for the next few weeks in COLD water. get a shampoo for colored hair. shampoos that say carifying, or super clean or anything like that will strip the color from your hair faster.
most dyes are 20-35 mins.

Shampoo with Dish Detergent, yeah sounds loopy even though it's going to fade out the black alot quicker and you will possibly get a depressing brown interior the top. would take the time, even though it particular beats bleaching your hair.....that's rather plenty the sole thank you to do away with black dye. yet another selection would be a color stripper, yet once you used boxed color, strippers won't artwork.

since that is such a dark color you should keep it on for 20-30 min depending on how thick and long your hair is p.s the longer and thicker the longer time to wait
