For guitar playing it has to be Jimi but the Doors did some great stuff so as someone once said it`s down to personnel choice and you had to be around at the time,I was,so for me IT HAS TO BE JIMI HENDRIX

As a woman it would have to be the Doors, Jimi Hendrix was a rare talent but a little too extreme for me, and Jim Morrison was just so beautiful and so sexy!!!

Hendrix is way more influential - these days, a young person has no reason to even know about the Doors, they are completely and totally outdated and buried in the past, while every rocker not only knows about Hendrix, but can learn tons, still.

no one performed some thing remotely like Jimi till he burst on the scene. an fairly solid musician can cop some different person's form when they listen it. yet Hendrix got here alongside actual at the same time as severe powered amps first were accessible and realized the potential. ought to you imagine pink Haze or crafty female performed on a xylophone? The doorways were also very cool and ambitious of their attitude to music. lots to love there too. The mid to previous due 60s grow to be at the same time as rock grew to grow to be from mere leisure to paintings.
