You're not alone. A lot of people don't realize what it is they want for a career until they are much older. I think the best thing to do is a get a degree majoring in Business Administration. That type of degree is pretty flexible when you try to get a job. If you get your degree in say Liberal Art or Music or something like that, it wont help you much unless you know exactly the type of job you want to get later. Definately get your Bachelor's degree though, without it you will have a hard time getting any type of decent job.

If you are interested in the criminal justice field but don't want to be a cop or a jailer, how about working in the community with programs that divert crime. Something like after school programs that get kids off the streets.

Go to community college and start taking classes in the fields you are interested in, but also be sure to take the regular classes that would help you get a degree (math, english, etc). You may discover in the end that you'd rather go into education or something.
Make it fun, and don't feel like the rest of your life starts today. Many people go to college, pick a career and change 10 years later. My cousin did that and she is perfectly happy now as a nurse, initially she started out in a large corporation.

do no longer difficulty approximately what's way less confusing to get into. in case you do, you will possibly finally end up with an incredibly straight forward activity, which you fairly relatively hate! you are able to desire to spend something of your existence complaining which you've been a ______ or which you need to have performed _______. Use those previous few college years to develop a robust activity which you rejoice with. Then, locate places the place human beings make money doing those issues... then bypass to a university that aid you get greater powerful at doing those issues and you'd be past to maximum folk (through fact have self assurance me, maximum folk in basic terms think of roughly looking the undemanding activity... those human beings is purely no longer pleased with their lives). stable success!

Maybe you should finish your degree in Criminal Justice (Bachelors) level and try out for the FBI. The job would be great and in your interest area. Something to think about.
