haircut help..?

i am 22 and i have long long brownish hair. i really want a change and will cut it short. what should i do with it, how short should i cut it and what color should i dye it please help

definatly dont do anything drastic. start with going a little shorter. allow long layers but i recommend keeping the back of your hair layerless. add a two tone highlighting job. somewhere along the line of staying nuetral to your natural hair color. maybe a tad lighter then your hair color and another tone a tad lighter then the first highlight. it will be a change, look natural(which will always be in), and beautiful.

it all depends on the shape of ur face as to the style and how short u should cut it, as far as color goes just go with what u like and colors u like, if u have brown eyes i dont suggest jessica simpson blond, a little darker than hers if u have green eyes red makes green stand out and do some crazy things i have green eyes and i have almost platum blond hair with a red strip in the front and a strip going down the side, so i can wear one blond one day and red the next it is just something u have to see. but just look at magazines and look for a face simular to yours and see how the hair is cut and the style it is, if u find one u like take it in with u when u get it cut.

well personally i like girls with long hair and i think you should keep it long and die it dirty blonde(brown and blonde mixed), but if you really want to cut it you should cut it shoulder length at the shortest.

how about side swept bangs? that's flattering on every face shape. the length depends on ur face shape too...shoulder length with layers, maybe? i'm no expert =)
