The best option is to continue Mr. Kalam as president of India, but it looks unlikely as Mr. Kalam had already rejected it. So the other best options could be Cheif Mentor of Infosys, Mr . N.R. Narayana Murthy or Shashi Tharoor.
Mr Narayana Murthy would make a great president and has the qualities to match Mr. Kalam, But congress party is selfish and is known for putting its puppets as presidents and governers. Congress party cant think differently as BJP did in the past. Mr. Narayana Murthy is a person who goes by rules, so congress will surely not consider. Leaving him, mr shashi tharoor could also be a good candidate for the post. He is a great diplomat and can add lot of glamour and change the way the world looks at President of India( he could have added lot of glamour to United Nations security cousil's general post if he had won ).
Mr. Amitab Batchan has commerical obligations and surely he wont be able to lose around fifty crore rupees per year by becoming president as it looks akward for a president of a country acting in movies and commerical ads. So he is clearly not right candidate and he himself wont accept.
So chose Mr. Murthy or Shashi Tharoor if congress can dare
