This is in reguards to the Colorado blizzard that we just made it through. I would like to purchase a used one, and I was told in is still covered in snow. Does that make the springs weak? Will it be safe for my Children?

We jumped on ours when it had snow on it :-) It actually just bounces less. As far as safety, it really depends on how long the previous owners have had it. If anything, the bed will rot quicker than the springs will break on you. I don't know your price range but I would consider looking for a new one- perhaps from Sams (do you have one close to you?) or Walmart. Both carry the 14' tramp. The rectangle ones are better made and have more bounce. It's all a matter of care though. A car left out in a blizzard would probably not run as well as one covered in a garage, you know what I mean? I attached the link to Sams Club tramps. good luck!

It should be alright to use because the manufacturers built them to be weather resistant. If you have doubts in it, then I would recomend you finding someone who can check out the wear of the springs. They most obvious sign of weakness in the springs will be rust. Rust is a corrosive agent that will eventually cause the springs to break. But if you do find rust, you could just go and by replacement springs for those that are ruined. As for the Nylon center, snow should not damage it at all. About all the damage I have seen in nylon is due to heat. You need to keep it conditioned in the way you would your dashboard of car.
