It's already available in the U.S. It's already at our local library for checkout.

Available in the US. I'm not sure other places. You can get it at Barnes and Noble or Books a Million or Borders or something for about 17 dollars, hard cover. I've never seen paperback...
it's a bit of a letdown though, I think Uglies was the best book in the series.

It depends on where you live. It's out in the United States. And Amazon UK said it released there in November 2006. Not sure about elsewhere.
