some people never ask questions because it costs points. I have actually learned a few things by asking my questions. Good value for my five points. Your views on this?

I do not ask that many questions now. I have only asked 10 different questions. Some of the answers that I got back from the people were sometimes rude. I also sometimes have trouble getting my emails to come up. I am thinking about asking more questions later on. It won't be too much longer until I will be on level 5. How can not asking questions make a person cheap in real life? I am not cheap in real life. I thought that these questions were about real life.

Well I didn't realize you had to use pts to ask questions lol. I personally don't ask a lot of questions because I know how to go about to find the answers to my questions.

If I was asking for opinions though, I would use this service more. However, come to think about it though I am rather "cheap" but I'm also quite practical, if I have a question that I can't answer I'm more likely to hire a professional vs. ask a group on yahoo.

I have never asked a question because I so far do not need any answers. I could care less about the points. I answer questions that I feel may help another person. What exactly do you mean by cheap?? I do not feel that was an appropriate assumption.

Well, let's just say I'm thrifty. I usually don't take a poll on answering questions about my personal life or beliefs, and for technical questions I can go to other sources and find the answer myself faster than waiting for an answer here....no offense intended to anyone....

I really enjoy answering questions. But I asked one yesterday (the first in months) and I have really enjoyed that too. So, I think I'll probably start asking more of them.
I don't really think about points.

Most of the questions I was going to ask have already been answered (you know, the search engine brings up questions with similar wording), so there was no need to post the question again since I found the info I was looking for!

For instance, I was always curious about the name of the band, Deathcab for Cutie - that's been answered dozens of times already!

Maybe some people just don't have questions. It doesn't imply they are cheap in real life. I have asked two questions EVER, that doesn't sustain that I am "cheap". So no, I disagree with your comment.

I agree with Nancy M, too many people give rude and wrong answers, so whats the point, I believe the I.Q. of most are very low..
