i know people who have had a baby who have the herpes virus, its perfectly safe to have a normal delivery providing your not having an outbreak at the time.if you are then i am sure that the midwives will help you out with that.. and no!!! none of the people i know had babies that caught it. good luck! and try to worry too much! by the way i worked in a g.u.m clinic,so i know a little bit about it.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 years ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/WVrqP everything changed.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

Dont worry hunny, Just because you have herpes, doesnt mean that you have to have a C Section. The doctor will give you medication before you have the baby, so that you dont have a breakout while you are delivering. That way, you dont spread it to your baby. I

I had a C-Section though. But the only reason why i had to have a C-Section, is because my baby was breech. And she would not flip around the other way, so they gave me a C section. Actually, it was not that bad, having a c section, you get numbed, so you dont feel anything at all and its kind of cool. but it takes even longer to heal with a C section. It takes about 6 weeks to heal after one, and if you have a natural birth, it takes about 2 weeks.

Good Luck and dont worry hun, you can still get pregnant, just make sure that you tell your doctor that you have herpes, so he/she can get something to clear that up for the baby.

You will have not choice but to have a c-section. Doctors will not deliver the baby vaginally. It is too risky for the baby to pass through the birth canal. No, I don't have herpes. I had a cyst during my pregnancy and a stupid ob/gyn told me it was herpes and I needed a Cesarean section. I was panicked beyond belief. Needless to say I went immediately (that same day) to an emergency room and the doctors checked me out and just laughed. I got a new ob/gyn and delivered a healthy child, but that's how I know you won't deliver vaginally.

You should have no problem having a healthy pregnancy....Make sure first that you are treated for it.....Most likely the Dr. will do a C-Section if the virus is active at the time of delivery...I have heard of people having a vaginal delivery and the baby was fine...Your Dr. will advise you of the best way to deliver at the time...Just make sure you are treated for it. Good Luck~
