is there going to be more movies for A Series of Unfortunate Events?

I think that it will be but in 30 years; like what happened with Lord Of The Rings. The movie they made was just trying to get advantage of the Children's book boom that is happening right now
Don't worry, one day we will have a good adaption with ALL the books

You would think because the first movie only covered three of the books that there WOULD be more, but it has been years since that movie was released, and there has been no mention of a sequel. Try going to the series' web site and looking around. Maybe you will find if there is or not. Or you could always just search "series of unfortunate events movies" That could bring up something as well.

I'm not sure because all of the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books are all on that one movie.
Like, if you put all of the books of together you get the movie.
So...
I don't know.
But, did you know that b4 that movie was called "A Series of Unfortunate Events" it was called "Ruining Christmas" ?

I really really really really really hope so. The books are done and maybe that's the reason, the another movie hasn't come out yet. The writer has been too busy working on the books to work on the movie. It can't be because the movie didn't do well enough, it made over 200 million dollars.
I think the only reason they WOULDN'T do finish the movies is because of Jim Carey. He has said before that he doesn't like to do sequels. Actually he more said that he doesn't like to "revisit" characters. But, same difference.

Not at all. The Author, Lemony Snicket (not his real name) is suppose to be a dead author writing it. His love was for beatrice, but when she died, then he made it his job to follow her children's story. I don't quite remember when or how Lemony Snicket died, just that after the last Snicket that he wrote about died, he said "And that was the last Snicket living." So, It's a little creepy, but yet a good story. If you read the To Beatrice part in the front of every book, you will start to understand a little more about his love for her and how he died.
