You know people are paying for these animals to eat and have vet checks and heated barns and all right up until they die..

Should we just set them free after thousands of years of being domesticated creatures? Release them into the wild and allow them to fend for themselves?? Leave massive piles on sidewalks and in your lawns?

If people aren't supposed to make money off of the meat industry anymore, surely you can't expect us to continue supporting and caring for and nurturing these animals in life??

Tell that to the PETA members sitting in the parking lot of my husband's place of business today trying to jump fences to set pigs free. He gets called in and away from his family on a SUNDAY while PUKING HIS GUTS OUT because a pack of idiots have nothing better to do.

I suppose they could bring lions and tigers to America. They could eat the other animals. That would be natural. They could send all the pigs to Iraq, The Muslims arent allowed to eat pigs, so the pigs could live there. Hey it's the pigs year! Lets give that whole country to the pigs to honor them, Rename it Baconia. The pigs could do a better job of running it.

when we let them run free they will die at a faster rate then they do now from their natural predators and all the diseases they WILL get, then all the people who said let them run free WILL be screaming about all the possibilities of humans dieing from all the dead and diseases animals all over the place, and they will want the governments to fix that problem too
so lets just eat them and save all the trouble and save the world from disease

smile
good luck

If we didn't have such a taste for meat, and if the food industry didn't put so much emphasis on it being an important part of our diet, we wouldn't be producing so much of it and there simply wouldn't be so many as to overrun us.

Good point....stop breeding them for meat sales, let the ones that are here stay and eventually they will die down to a comfortable amount that they can keep them for farm animals.

someone needs to get laid, maybe that way YOU'll start thinking straight.

ANIMALS HAVE RIGHTS AND IT'S THANKS TO PEOPLE LIKE YOUR HUSBAND, THAT THOSE RIGHTS ARE NOT RESPECTED.

I'm not a peta fan, but people with a mentality like yours should be kept in cages, that way you'll understand what the hole "rights" thing is.
