If your hard drives are over 75% full, you may need to back up (copy) pictures, mpegs, etc. to CD or DVD. Then, verify that your backups are readable in Windows and delete the originals from your hard drives.

Repeat until you have at least 25% free space on each drive and do a disk cleanup as previously posted. You will likely need to "defragment" your hard drives, too. Google for more info.

Failing that, buy a new larger hard drive(s) and have the seller do the back ups for you. If either drive crashes, you will lose everything!

1.Right (as opposed to left) mouse click on Start (lower right hand corner)
2. Left mouse click on explore
3. Right mouse click on your C:\ (drive letter)
4. Click at the bottom of the column to properties
5. The first tab you should see is the "General Tab"
6. The Disk Cleanup tool is located in the box.
