I want to believe horoscopes, but they seem 2 cheezie

That's probably because you are looking at the ones printed in the paper.
They are generic and only apply in a broad sense.
If you use your natal chart, it is pretty accurate in terms of describing a person's nature and characteristics. (and I don't necessarily mean in predicting the future).
But there is a big difference in an Aries and a Capricorns personality etc..

I say look to natal charts. Just looking at sunsigns will really make it sound cheesy if, say, a Pisces friend starts acting like a reckless retard that shoots his mouth off every second. Natal charts go into more detail, but they're really for looking at the traits and behavior of people. If you want to find out about yourself, really, just look at what you do dailyand study it.

The ones in the paper are cheesy. Just believe that when someone is say, a Scorpio that they will most likely have traits of that sign. That is all.

well you have the right to either believe in them or disbelieve in them nobody is holding a gun to your head so it's up to you to decide what you want to do and move on from there doll i hope i helped
