I just wanted to see what everyone thinks I would be able to do based on what I say. Plus, I'm doing a school report on which college I want to go to and why so I need my major. Please don't tell me that "do what makes you happy" thing. I know, I plan to do what makes me happy, but I just want to see.
I really want to make a dif. in peoples lives. I really want to help others. I love to sing but I don't think I'm very good. I never want to do any kind of surgery on anything. I love to cook but I never have the time. I'm really good at cooking too.I was hoping to jump into a career on the FBI or a polive officer. I'm in the IPSEI program (gifted students) and I'm in the top 10% of my class. I got to take the SAT's in 7th grade. I learn things very quickly and I'm good at logical thinking. I think I could make a great cook, but that's not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I would love to become something that helps people or animals, but not medically. Mentally. Thanks!

You can own/operate a business that provides meals for the elderly or handicapped.

Sounds like you are bright enough to own your own business and that you want to help people. I would focus on those two things. Cooking can be a great hobby if you don't work it in to your career.

It seems you want to be a psychologist. The catch with psychologist is that every girl want to be a psychologist and help people. Well, either that or a nurse, a vet or a doctor. Oh a school teacher. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with psephology but if you do choose that route then be aware that you are there for the long run. You can't do squat with a B.S. in psychology. You really want at least a masters degree but preferably a PH.D

If you are good at logical thinking and math may I recommend the wonder full and fulfilling field of engineering. If you are female and you become an engineer then you are guaranteed a well paying job. That's right, I said guaranteed. There are not enough female engineers so, companies are more than willing to hire some. You can also make a differencee in this field albeit the amount of differenc depends where you work. What about the field of making prosthetics, or biomedical engineering? Civil engineering also makes a noticeable impact on people. Electrical and computers do to but are less visible. I mean they are visible for you and me but less so to the engineer. Without engineers, we wouldn't have this wonder full site where we can ask questions.

They are so many jobs in the medical field that you would be good at that would not involve surgery. People in the medical field make good money plus are rewarded with the fact that they help people. Maybe you could be a teacher or professor, probably not the best money wise.. but you can make a huge difference in ppls lives. You mentioned FBI so I instantly thought of forensics. That would be a very interesting job. Maybe since you can cook so well you can get involved with being a dietitian or nutritionist. That in some cases can save peoples lives. Hope that helped with your search. Good luck
