have you tried anubias it is considered fish proof. people recommend java fern and java moss but i found the new growth gets eaten on java fern and i think my goldfish were eating my java moss which is supposed to be fish proof too.

Silver Dollars are vegetairans and will eat any live plants. The only plants they won't eat are plastic plants and silk plants.

I bought a $4 plastic green plant from walmart and my silver dollar loves it. He hides in it constantly but never tries to eat it. Try that...

in my experience there is no plant that the silver dollar wont eat i suggest that you decorate your tank with fake plants and just add a real one every so often to sustain the vegetation requirements of their diet

I have no idea what they don't eat but mine are kept with fake plants in a well oxgenated tank and are thriving! They do love a bit of bloodworm though.

tricky, They will eat any and all plants very quickly and do need vegetation in their diet.
try fast growing species such as vallis or sumatran fern (i think that was what it was called) or cabomba or ludwiga.
failing that the choice and quality of artificial plants is pretty good these days - though not as rewarding as growing your own!
