75 + 2t = 100 - 2t

75 + 2t + 2t = 100 - 2t + 2t

75 + 4t =100

75 + 4t - 75 = 100 - 75

4t = 25

4t/4 = 25/4

t = 25/4

t = 6 1/4

t = 6.25

so you have: 75 + 2t = 100 - 2t
first, add 2t to each side: 75 + 4t = 100
then, subtract 75 from each side: 4t = 25
then, divide each side by four: t = 25/4 or 6.25 or 6 1/4 (all are acceptable answers)

75+2t=100-2t

add 2t for both sides
75 + 4t = 100

subtract 75 for both sides
4t = 25

divide 4 for bothh sides
t = 25/4 or 6.25

hope this helps.
