Furthermore, the national average scores for the SAT I show the same thing that the IQ scores do:

The situation with the SAT is more lopsided than it appears. SAT scores are "firewalled" - a test-taker gets 400 free points just for showing up. Also, since 1996 the difference in racial achievement has been reduced by a dishonest manipulation of SAT scores called "recentering." Recentering has the effect of adding 130 points to the score of the average Black test-taker, but only 100 points to the score of the average White test-taker, thus artificially reducing the gap between the races.

And remember, these scores are NATIONAL AVERAGES, which means that they haven't been "cherrypicked" or "cooked." The most egregious and famous example of cherrypicking academic score data was committed by Otto Kleinberg, a Jewish researcher who cheated by precisely this method in order to make it seem that Black and White students performed equally well.

Most of these tests are standardized tests, scored by machine, which eliminates the possibility of human bias in the scoring. The racial differences aren't "cultural," either. Culturally different Asian groups, immigrated to America, do quite well on American IQ tests and in academics. This proves that the Black-White gap is biological, rather than cultural.

IQ test scores are much better correlated with race than with socioeconomic status (SES). Studies (such as those surveyed by Arthur Jensen in his "How Much Can We Boost IQ and Scholastic Achievement?") show that Whites from the poorest families usually outscore Blacks from the richest families. So, no, "poverty" can't be blamed for Black underachievement on IQ tests.

No matter which test you pick, the races always line up in the same order. Either Whites or Asians comes in first place, with the other of those running a close second. Far behind in third place comes the Mestizos, the Hispanics of Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Central/South America. Bringing up the rear are the Blacks: dead last, every time.

No doubt this is racist. However, it is also the truth.

There is an odd thing about racial egalitarians, and I wonder how many people have noticed it. They are quick to demand sources whenever anyone says something about race that is not politically correct. But they seldom, if ever, provide sources for their own position of racial equality. Liberals don't seem to think that *their* ideas need any scientific backing, probably because there isn't any for them. So to keep the racists on the defensive, they merely ASSERT racial equality dogma as some kind of cosmic default, and then they DEMAND that the racists prove anything to the contrary.

Yes, those quoted 'IQ' scores are correct. Is it racist to say that? Let's define racist:

Interesting, that. In a sense the statement is not racist, because it is not a belief. HOWEVER, what is a belief is that IQ is equal to 'intelligence', and therefore makes black people inferior.


So, it is only racist if it is put into a racist context, put simply. The statement in itself is not racist, because it is truthful. However, if you were to insinuate from the statement that black people are inherently inferior because of their lower IQ, you would be making a racist statement.

End of discussion. We've been testing IQ long enough to know that a racial divide exists, so everyone that is complaining, shut up and take your head out of your ***. Black people score lower. It's true. What does that say about individuals in a population, though? Does that mean all blacks are inherently stupid? No, no it doesn't. Does that mean there arn't genius blacks? No, no it doesn't. What these scores are telling us is that black people as a whole population generally fare less well than whites on a test that is testing certain mental abilities.

There's an old saying that "liars figure and figures lie." While your stats might be accurate what do the stats tell you? If you believe that the facts are proof that whites are smarter than blacks then you are guilty of racism.

Why? Because you're not willing to find out what the numbers really mean. You'd rather just quote them as "proof" of a conclusion you've already drawn.

Consider real studies where children of equal IQs were separated into two classrooms. One teacher was told their students were "gifted" and the other teacher was told their students were under achievers. Not surprisingly, the "gifted" group dramatically out performed the other group. Why, because they had higher IQs? No, because somebody they looked up to had faith in their abilities.

If black students don't get a fair shake at education, the numbers will reflect that. Why do black students on average attend the worst schools? A history of oppression has clustered them into undesirable neighborhoods with low paying jobs. These bad neighborhoods have low property values. Schools are funded through property taxes which are assessed based on property values. Since funding sources (taxes) are low it's difficult to hire good teachers and get proper supplies for the classroom. The children end up thinking they're not "cut out for college" or that if they want to make good money they need to sell drugs because they're not "smart enough" to go to college. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Their parents didn't go to college what makes the child think he or she can?

Show me a set of statistics separated into groups by skin color and I'll show you a very subtle but insidious form of racism.

True....statistics don't lie but they can be misleading. Your stats are very misleading. The fact that you just spat out a number without a source tells me a couple of things about you:

1) You have no idea how to adequately articulate an argument using qualitative data.

2) You do not understand exactly what an IQ test measures.

3) You have no idea or refuse to acknowledge the piss poor public education system that is saturated with disinterested, unqualified, underpaid and burned out teachers...and there is not enough of them. Fact is, this is where our black students get their educations.

Yes, but the IQ tests that are administered are often far from standard.

Created by a pair of white males (Stanford and Binet) and mostly tested on a bunch of other white males (recruits during WWI) IQ tests were designed to provide an average score of 100 to white males. They were not created to take into account ethnic and socio-economic differences, therefore, anybody taking the test other than a white male is likely to get a skewed result.

The main problem is that it is inaccurate.

There are racists who have made this claim, but they have to cherry-pick or cook their data.

(The reason they are racists is they are obsessed with "proving" the superiority of their own race in order to subjugate other races, and to make themselves feel less worthless.)

It's possible that what you're talking about has to do with severe malnourishment among many blacks -- especially in areas of Africa, but this reflects poverty, not innate intellectual capacity.

The most important thing to remember is that there is much more variation within each race, than there is between races.
