Booze is not the answer, it lowers the blood pressure only temporary and then there is a rebound effect.

Exercise is good, get a bike and an mp3 and then learn a foreign language whilst you cycle

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. There are many KNOWN CAUSES of hypertension that are treatable. You may want to educate yourself with an excellent book by Sherry Rogers, M.D. on this subject. The book is called "The High Blood Pressure Hoax". It is available at Amazon.com.

Try making raw garlic part of your dinner. For example, try steamed broccoli with butter and garlic - yummy - you don't have to suffer to get the benefits!
