A government has the responsibility to protect the health and welfare of the individuals under its care. It is in no way an infringment of anyones rights.

It is the responsibility of the government to ban such things as drugs and other harmful substances. This includes cigarettes.

Only idiots believe it is an infringement.

Yes it is indeed an infringement upon our rights. People have the freedom to choose, this is the basic right of Liberty. I am a responsible adult and choose to consume trans fats. That ban infringes upon this liberty.

Yes not everyone lacks the self control to eat in modest portions Why don't they try doing something productive instead.

Yep, people have a right to be obese, diabetic, sick, & to kill themselves eating junk food if they so desire. How dare NY interfere with those rights!
