What names do you hear and usually think "this should be a good person"? Do you think Anns are better people than Lillys? And Daniels are nice guys while Williams are pretentious?

Nope. Ann's are not better than Lilly's - they are just names. Though when I hear the name Ann, I think of dull and boring. Lilly reminds me of a pretty summer flower. Daniel and William are good strong names.
The nastiest person can have the prettiest name and the nicest person can have a not so pretty name. Though, when you hear a name, you may remember a nice person or a not so nice person. But one shouldn't judge someone by their name.
If you're trying to find a name for your child, go with what you like, not what someone else thinks. We all have met people with the same names at some point in time, some mean, some nice.
A name doesn't make the person, the person makes the name.

It is hard not to associate names with certain characteristics. It is all about who you are around and how they treated you...
I think of Ann's as being very sweet and caring people. Obviously I have been around many nice Ann's! I think of Anne Marie's as being very nice yet a bit snobby and egocentric.
I only picture little girl Lilly's. I haven't met any "grown up Lilly's". I do think that they will be very spoiled because the Lilly's I know are doted upon by their parents. (One of my favorite names too!)
I do think of Daniel's as being nice guys. Very laid back.
William I think of very driven. Determined to be succesful. I always picture a business man. Normally come from a family with money.
Other nice people names are: Lynn, Rebecca, and Bonnie. For men I think of David's as being very nice. Also, Jim.

Anns usually are better people than Lilys. Its hard to tell about Daniels and Williams. Names I usually associate with nice people are:
Lauren
Cordelia (from King Lear, the nice one)
Sarah
Natalie
Victoria
Mary
Marie
Claire
Marcia

Actually Lily sounds like a gentle person I have not liked most Anns that I've met
williams stuffy and Daniels are generally nice
Ew and Willie is an awful nickname

it all depends on who you know by that name, if you know a really nice person named Anne, then whenever you think of that name, you think of that person, so it sounds like a nice name to you. If you name someone taht though, dont think about all those things, cause it wont change who the child will grow up to be, whatever he/she will be will become what kind of person that name defines. good luck!

Sophies and Alices usually are mean and bitc** while Melanies and Rachels are usually popular but nice. Jennas, Anas, and Diana's are just all around nice. Williams are usually weird and Daniels, Sams, and Rusells are almost always nice and gentlemen. I've never met a Lilly or an Anne but I do know an Ana (Ona) who is just the nicest person. Names don't mean anything. They are just names and could mean anything. These are just my personal opinions so please don't get offended. Thank you.

I associate names with people I've known. I've never known a nice Ashley. All the Justins I've known have had huge egos. And I've had lots of good friends named Sarah.

you associate names with the people you met having those names. so everybody has a different take on this. for example i can't stand james. every james i met just rubs me the wrong way, so i'd never call my kid james. but i'm sure there are very nice james out there. go with your feeling, a name sticks and should be thought over hard.

yes an Ann is a reliable honest team player who is smart and good and makes a good friend Lilly is flighty selfish and not to be trusted
Daniel is a gentleman and well educated
William is a stuffed shitit unless he is Bill than he is a fine fellow
