do i have to put it in specicic folder?

just dowload the stuff click on the icon and it should run and go into the sims

Download the file. Usually you have to use winzip or winrar to extract them. Then place these files in your download folder. To check if you have a download folder go to My documents - EA Games - The sims 2. It should be there. If it isn't then just create one.

You have to put everything in your Downloads folder. Then, if you want... you can put subfolders in your Downloads folder... like Clothes, MakeUp, Hair Styles, etc.
You can get to your Downloads folder by going to:
My Documents>EA Games>The Sims 2
