I'm trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my interent to play LIVE by connecting my ethernet cable to my laptop. I am running WIndows XP and have allowed my internet to be reached by outside sources. Can somone tell me what I am doing wrong or give me instructions on how to do this?

first if you have a wireless internet you just have to bridge the connections but it will get complicated so its just better to use a desktop computer and have two Ethernet ports and bridge them. Or you could just connect your xbox straight to your dsl or cable modem

From what I have read. It looks as though you need to connect the ethernet cable to the 360, instead of connecting to your laptop. If you want to use your laptop as a screen/T.V. for your 360. You are going to need a program similar to Intervideo WINDVR or something like that.

there has been an ongoing problem with the LIVE cards, but if u go on micrsoft web sight they will walk u through it easily. u r not the first, believe me.

you don't hook it to the Internet you hook it up 2 the cable
