F & A, wouldn't touch it, call the police & let them know it's there with my cell phone! :)
Wouldn't take a random dollar, 5, 10, 20, etc lying on the ground, either, because it doesn't belong to me. And, hopefully, the person that dropped it may retract their steps & find it.
It's not finders keepers, what if that was your money? Wouldn't you hope some honest, principled person wouldn't take it? Don't do onto others as you wouldn't want them to do to you. I have a conscience. And I know I would answer to God. But before caring as much about the latter, I still had a conscience.
If there was a return or reward, I wouldn't want it. I wouldn't want to profit off of someone else's grievance. If no-one claimed it & the police won't hold onto to indefinitely for them, then it could be a donation to the police for their work & efforts to find the rightful owner & the paperwork they do along with it... and all the other services they provide daily putting their lives on the line at a very trying job at times. :) God Bless!
I wish I could say the same as some other people that thought people who'd chose a,e,or f were full of crud. Sadly, I know some really would b,c, or d. [That's why this war on terror seems futile at times because of a great moral decline of many people around the world. -so, they're not as obviously malicious like the terrorists who are blowing people up. But they $crew people in other ways. Too many people are living without the conviction of NOT doing onto others as you wouldn't want them to do to you. There are a few good men/women. But, when the majority doesn't care about acting a certain way that's what's really gonna be going around the most. What goes around, comes around. So the most common attitudes/actions are the ones most others will use on you, too. Therefore, people need to be re-educated on empathy, morals, values, principals, & good character. If it becomes cool again, more people will catch on, more people doing it, & more of it going around. What goes around, comes around. :))))]
I know you could do e by putting an ad in paper & saying describe to claim. But... what if when they got it, they returned you evil for good by saying you took some? :/ Sadly, there's those types of people, too. :( That's why I understand f, only. :)

I'd keep it, but if there was some way to track down the owner, I would perhaps return it with a 'fee' taken upfront. I would never give it to the police if there was no way to ID the owner. I might give some away so as to relieve any guilt. Also, I would never leave it alone. One should also be careful that the bills are not marked in any way. Hundreds are also hard to break. I'd use a couple and see what happens, maybe give some to a bum. They could be counterfeit, too, so one could get into alot of trouble. Test to see if the bills are real, too.

First, I'd report that I'd found a suitcase, but I wouldn't say it contained $$. Maybe I'd post an ad or something. I would leave it to the rightful owner to tell me what was in the case (and how much if they said $$) in order to prove they were the rightful owner. I'd wait 30 days. If the rightful owner did not appear, the money would be mine, all mine. I would keep it for myself. I'm selfish like that.

I would keep it for myself. Sorry, I'm not greedy. I'm only human. And I don't care what people say on here, 99% of the people would take it for themselves too. I may decide to turn some of it in, but I'm keeping some for myself as a finders fee.

If I was convinced it was left under nefarious (read illegal) circumstances I would keep it myself. If it was somewhere that led me to believe a legit person misplaced it I'd turn it in to the police....btw how Big a suitcase..haha??

With my luck, it was stolen from bank and I'd get caught trying to spend it, so I'd probably give it to the police...If however, I was sure it wasn't stolen, I would keep it for my family
