In what way would Jesus be similar to Rush and/or Bill Reilly? Both of those men are famous in their own time and live rich wealthy lifestyles.
I don't see either one of those guys running around talking to (or caring about) the poor.
I really don't see any similarities....

O'Reilly and Limbaugh are nothing like Jesus. They are people who make a living on hate and making people feel superior to others. If given the opportunity, the conservative, supposedly Christian machine would see to it that American workers were kept at a low wage, and that businesses and rich people were given every possible opportunity to thrive and lord power over them.
When's the last time you heard of a conservative pushing for a minimum wage increase? When's the last time one even considered allowing it without putting in clauses that either took the teeth out of it or gave the advantage right back to big business and rich people? When's the last time a conservative put peoples' health above the almighty dollar? When's the last time a conservative did ANYTHING for the poor?
Is this really what Jesus would have wanted? No. Jesus reached out his hand to all people, but most heavily to the poor and the sick. O'Reilly and Limbaugh have an agenda, and in a way, so did Jesus... but these agendas are at completely OPPOSITE ends of the spectrum.
I honestly believe I've gotten dumber having read "I am sure Jesus was similiar to O'Reilly and Rush". That is probably the craziest thing I have ever read.

Of course he was similar to O'Reilly, remember the "No Spin Zone" in the Bible. As far as Rush goes, I don't remember hearing a lot about Jesus carrying false prescriptions or being addicted to pain killers.
Give me a break.

As a Christian I can tell you that the only one that knows the answer to that question is God.
Others may have opinions - but the fact remains that God is the only one that really knows.

Its not their political leanings or earthly lifestyle from our eyes. God judges a man by his heart. I have seen into the heart of neither man. Do I believe these two are closer to Biblcal teaching then the left yes.

As a non Christian Humanist, all I can say is that if those two are the measurement for Christian morality and Deity then no wonder Religion has such a bad name.
